Great reef
Depth: between 15 to 40 meter
Distance: 10 min to go by boat or directly from the beach
Habitat for angel shark, morays, rays, trumpet fish, barracudas, breams,
and so on.

Small reef
Depth: between 15 and 35 meter
Distance: 10 min to go by boat or directly from the beach
Habitat for anemones, barracudas, morays, cardinal fish, red mullet, spiny
fanmussel, groupers, oysters and so on.

Chupadero
Depth: up to 10 m
Distance: 30 min to go by car, shore dive from the Bay of La Lajita
Habitat for cuttlefish, octopus, sea hare, red mullets, atlantic and blue-fin
damselfishes…

Ouside of the harbour
Depth: 5-13 m
Distance: 2 min to go by boat
Habitat for angel sharks, stingrays, butterfly rays, garden eels, breams,
hermite crabs…

Punto Chucho
Depth: 17 – 20 m
Distance: 5 min to go by boat
Area with a mixture of rocks and sand. Habitat for sea turtles, seaslugs,
hermit crabs, streaked gurnard, barracudas…

Canyon
Depth: 12 – 14 m
Distance: 5 min to go by boat
Small cornice of rocks that ends in several canyons. Habitat for conger
eels, zebra breams, ornate wrasses, groupers, brown morays, red reef lobsters…
Cabezon
Depth: 14 – 18 m
Distance: 15 min to go by boat
Characteristic by its large walls of volcanic rock. Habitat for bastard
grunts, barracudas, fangtooth morays, glasseye, devil worms…
Gerias
Depth: 8 – 12 m
Distance: 15 min to go by boat
Mixed zone of sand and rocks. Habitat for a lot of marine invertebrates:
anemones, bonellias, fire worms, sea-stars, arrow crabs…
